THE LEAVES ARE FALLING by Lucy Beckett

4 Stars

Story Feels: anxious in a good way, grateful for my life

Story Strengths: compelling protagonist, seamless time shifts, incredible description/narration

Story Goofs: some dialogue too lengthy, anti-climactic love story, asking too much of the reader to start over with another protagonist

Story Morals: growing up in a tradition and feeling the pull toward rationalism, common good vs. individual, where are the dead?
